The Music Collection is home to one of St. John's and Mount Pearl's most established and largest private music schools. We have been providing high quality lessons since 1988 and currently have over 40 qualified teachers instructing around 1000 students. "Learn your way" with lessons that can be customized to a pace that is enjoyable, yet gives students the musical skills they need. "Learn what you want" - the students choose to learn the styles of music that they enjoy.

Our Music Lesson Centre programs include private lessons, guitar group lessons and various ensembles.

Private Music Lessons

Lessons available for:

The Music Collection's private, one on one lessons allows people of any age and any skill level to take music lessons. All of our lessons are customized to each student's abilities and they may choose which style of music they wish to play. Each of our studio centres are fully equipped, family oriented, clean and comfortable. Students have the option to pursue examinations through the Royal Conservatory of Music or Conservatory Canada, perform at the Kiwanis Music Festival, or simply experience the fun of learning and creating music. Students may also join one of our optional rock groups or various ensembles to learn the skills of playing together.

Performances
We feature two recitals each year in December and June. These performances provide an opportunity for family and friends to hear how students have progressed in their lessons. Students learn how to present themselves to an audience while helping to increase their self-confidence. The recitals are always optional, but all students are encouraged and welcome to perform.
