Savanna Muscat – Brass, Voice, Piano
Savanna Muscat was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. She completed her B. Mus in Euphonium and Classical Voice at the University of Windsor and is currently pursuing her M. Mus at Memorial University in Newfoundland. During her music journey, she started teaching privately and in the school system in piano, voice, and brass. Aside from her teaching career, she is an avid performer, both in the instrumental and choral world. Vocal highlights include singing alongside the Windsor Symphony Orchestra in productions of Candide, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Mozart’s Nozze de Figaro (Marriage of Figaro), Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, Mozart’s Requiem, and Puccini’s Madama Butterfly; touring with Mid-America Productions to perform Ola Giejo’s Sunrise Mass at Carnegie Hall, and singing in the Canadian premiere of Whitacre’s The Boy Who Laughed At Santa Claus. Instrumental highlights include playing lead trumpet in local Broadway productions of Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors, and Seussical; and playing alongside Windsor Symphony Orchestra in Side x Side x Side concert with euphonium solos in Holst’s First Suite in Eb, Appermont’s Noah’s Ark, Whitacre’s October, and Holst’s Mars from The Planets.
