Shipping Information

Standard Shipping Rates – $18 or free if total is over $199

To keep things simple and to avoid surprise costs we offer $18 Flat Rate shipping or Free Shipping if your total order is more than $199 (before taxes). There are some exceptions like very large or heavy items as well as shipping to remote areas and outside Canada.

The exceptions include:

  • Products/Orders that weigh more than 35 lbs (15.8 kg).  While most of our products are less than this weight there are a few that are over the limit, typically some drum kits and digital pianos.  These products will have a notice in the item’s description.
  • Free shipping and Flat Rate Shipping may not apply to “Beyond Point” or “remote” postal codes as determined by Canada Post and our alternate couriers.   Unfortunately this usually includes Northwest Territories, Yukon Territories, Nunavut and other remote northern areas.   Customers in these areas will be contacted 1 to 2 business days after placing their order to confirm the shipping costs.
  • From time to time some clearance priced items listed on this site may not qualify for flat rate or free shipping. Any of these will have a notice in the item’s description.

All customers falling under the above exemptions are advised to contact us to obtain a shipping quote before ordering.   Quotes may require a few days to obtain back from shippers.   Customers may also choose to place an order and we will contact them with a quote on shipping costs about 1 to 2 business days after placing the order.

Shipping usually takes 3 to 4 business days within Atlantic Canada, 6 to 8 to the rest of Canada.   These times are only estimates, we can not guarantee any shipping times or deadlines.

Can I pick up my Order in Store? – Free Store Pickup

Yes when placing your order you may select to pickup your order at either of our locations for free. You will be contacted by email to let you know your order is ready. Typically orders can be picked up the next business day.

How to Track my Order?

You will be notified of progress by:

  • a confirmation email after you place your order
  • an additional email alerting you that your order has been shipped

If necessary you may also contact us for a tracking number on your shipment.

Issues with Received Orders

Wrong or missing items
Your order may have been packaged in more than one box; refer to the packing slip and order tracking to verify you don’t have any outstanding pieces. Please contact us should your order not be correct.

Damaged items
If you notice visible damage to your package please refuse the shipment (don’t sign for it) and contact us. If you notice the damage after accepting and opening your order contact us right away.

What if there is any other Problem with my Delivery?
Please call or email us and we’ll take steps to help resolve the issue.

Haven’t received your order

If you haven’t received your order in the expected time frame (see estimate of shipping time on your order tracking) please contact us.
