Rosaura Alejandra Aguilar Márquez is a violist and music educator with a background in performance, pedagogy, and community-based teaching.
Originally from Mexico, she completed her Master’s in Performance and Pedagogy at Memorial University of Newfoundland and currently performs with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.
She teaches violin and viola at Strong Harbour
Strings, working with students of all ages and skill levels. Her teaching approach focuses on creating inclusive, engaging learning environments and helping students build confidence through music.
Rosaura is also involved in projects that promote access to the arts and highlight diverse voices in music.

Rowan Sherlock originally hails from Waterford, Ireland, having moved to Newfoundland in 2017 after coming to NL on tour with a band from Ireland, aptly named ‘Newfoundland’! Now a Canadian citizen - currently a full-time music teacher and gigging musician. He plays mandolin, piano and fiddle for acclaimed Juno award winning Newfoundland group ‘The Irish Descendants’, as well working as regular gigging fiddle player for ‘Rugged Shores’ and as a session musician for others too. Rowan has a BA in Music Composition and Classical Violin performance and completed his Masters Degree in Music Composition, from Ireland. Rowan has since toured the world extensively with many orchestras and groups, before making Newfoundland his home.

Hailing from St. John’s, NL, Clare Follett is a seasoned veteran on the East Coast music scene. You may have seen her perform with the likes of Nick Earle and the Reckless Hearts, the Janet Cull band and countless others, or as a solo artist performing her original music. Clare has also worked with artists such as Rosemary Lawton, Kelly McMichael, Quote the Raven, Kellie Loder, and many more as a producer and recording engineer. Clare has received nine MusicNL nominations, three MusicNL awards, and four Newfoundland and Labrador Arts & Letters awards for her songwriting. She was also selected as an ECMA Break Out Artist in 2018. Clare holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in double bass as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
